Geography

A cold land of the far north beyond the Ettenmoors, centred on Carn Dûm.

History

Raised by the Witch-king around T.A. 1300; after centuries of war it broke Arthedain in 1974 and was destroyed by the Elves and Gondor the next year.

Significance

Angmar’s wars ended the northern Dúnedain kingdom and scattered the line that Aragorn later restores.
